Aliya Robinson is managing legal counsel of the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs division. She is a committee member of the Retirement Leadership Council. She is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Aliya has been with T. Rowe Price since 2021, beginning in the Legal, Audit, and Compliance Department. Prior to this, Aliya served as senior vice president of retirement and compensation policy at The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) where she led ERIC’s efforts to develop and advocate for retirement and compensation public policy priorities for ERIC member companies at the federal, state, and local levels. Prior to that, she served as the executive director of retirement policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she was responsible for developing, promoting, and publicizing the chamber’s policies on employer-provided retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation, and Social Security.

Aliya earned a master of laws in taxation from New York University School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in economics and African studies from Yale University. She is a fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and is a member of the Tax Coalition and the ERISA Roundtable. Aliya has held various leadership positions in the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA Labor and Employment Section and the Joint Committee of Employee Benefits of the American Bar Association. She also is a contributing editor to the American Bar Association Treatise on Employee Benefits Law.
