    Ways to engage

Buddy program: Connects new associates who have military service experience with VALOR members to welcome and help them navigate the firm and share the mission of VALOR.

Deployment support program: Geared toward associates in the reserves or National Guard who are deployed as well as to associates who are spouses or partners of someone deploying.

Ruck March: Raises funds for mental health support. Nearly 400 associates participated in recent years—including our Management Committee.

Memorial Day and Veterans Day: Past events include a presentation by TAPS, a nonprofit that provides resources to those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one; a panel discussion on veteran homelessness and mental health; and an event featuring Merging Vets and Players, an organization that highlights serving beyond the uniform.

Education, giving, and volunteering: Opportunities for associates include Wreaths Across America, Stop Soldier Suicide, The Catch a Lift Fund, The Baltimore Station, and Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center.
