Any Apple iPhone 5s and above can currently support Touch ID. You can set up your T. Rowe Price account for Touch ID login if you have one of the supported devices that is running iOS 11.0 or above.
Touch ID for the T. Rowe Price App allows you to log on to the app using your fingerprint instead of your username and password on compatible iPhone models equipped with a Touch ID sensor.
Your username ID and password will be encrypted and stored in your device's Apple iOS Keychain.
Your fingerprint data will be stored on your device and T. Rowe Price will never see that information. Please note that anyone with a fingerprint stored on the device will be able to access your account. Visit your iOS settings to see more information on Touch ID and to enable the feature.
To enable Touch ID on your account, open the T. Rowe Price App and turn the Touch ID toggle to 'ON' prior to logging in. You can begin using touch ID after you have setup it and login the first time. You can change this setting anytime you like.
Yes. If for some reason the device does not recognize your fingerprint, you will be prompted for a password. At that point, you should be able to enter your T. Rowe Price personal App password and other information (if prompted for additional authentication requests) to login to your account.
You can change this setting any time on the login screen of the App. Prior to login, turn the toggle to 'Off' if you no longer wish to login with Touch ID.
For your protection, you may be prompted for a password and/or additional authentication even if you have Touch ID enabled on the App if we think it is necessary to further authenticate your identity.
The Overview page displays your total assets and individual tiles for each type of account that you own. The accounts are initially sorted using the retirement/nonretirement view. You can view IRA, mutual fund, Brokerage, workplace retirement, and most college savings plan accounts.
